S.S. Stewart Lady Stewart Openback Banjo (1890-94)
This 1890s S.S. Stewart "Lady Stewart" model, is an openback banjo with a skin head, and 9" rim. Made from a nickel-silver pot, with maple veneer, with cherry dowel stick and neck. The short (22-1/2") scale is well suited to smaller-bodied players. Hardware includes 20 J-hooks, hex nuts, and L-shoes. Appointments of pearl star and dot inlay. Equipped with violin peg tuners. Over-sized '30s hardshell case included. Made in USA.
