Martino Quintavalla F-Jazz Mandolin & Case
Martino Quintavalla is luthier based in Bianzone, Italy. He has been building exceptional mandolins that stray from the norm in design, but excel in the sounds of tradition. This particular mandolin is no exception. The F-Jazz mandolin recalls typical elements of both A and F-style mandolins. These elements are personally interpreted to make a versatile instrument whose sound can span across bluegrass, oldtime and jazz. This instrument provides volume and clarity with its Italian Alpine spruce top, maple back and sides and thin, hand rubbed finish. Along with its sound, this instruments embeds innovative elements such as a compensated nut, magnetic tailpiece and a through body strap attachment.
