From the north of Europe this Levin square shoulder dreadnought has an X-braced spruce top, and maple back and sides. The bolt-on mahogany neck has a bound ebony fretboard. appointed with offset pearloid block fret markers, top purfling, and a multi-stripe rosette. Equipped with covered geared tuners, it comes with a rough hardshell case. The Herman Carlson Levin Company built instruments from c.1900 till about 1978 under several brand names in Sweden.
